Make daily, weekly, and monthly "To Do" lists.

Break down difficult tasks into smaller tasks. That will make the larger task seem less intimidating.

Take time to relax. Break study periods into hour intervals. Study for 50 minutes and relax for 10 minutes.

Schedule time to plan and develop "To Do" lists.

Don’t procrastinate.

Be realistic in your expectations of yourself. Don’t plan to do so many activities that you can’t finish them. Learn how and when to say "No."

Schedule time for using the phone and sending e-mail.

Use waiting time. Time spent waiting can be used for many things, including relaxation.
