The second season of Tim Burton's brilliant series has finally ended on Netflix.
After around a month of waiting, the remaining four episodes the Second “Wednesday” relay published on Netflix. Even if the second part of season two do not fully get to the grandiose premiere edition, once more best fantasy entertainment with a simple main character Wednesday Addams is offered, played by superstar Jenna Ortega (22).
That's what “Wednesday” is about, part two of season two
The cliffhanger final of the first part made fans of the Netflix series puzzled: Has main character Wednesday Addams blessed the time? But a trailer to continue the Season revealed that this is not the case. In addition, in the new episodes, the late NEUMORE school director Larissa Weems (Gwendoline Christie, 46) crowded up and becomes a new guide to Wednesday's. In addition, via Zombie Schlamzi (Owen Painter), Hyde Tyler (Hunter Doohan, 31) and some other figures, sometimes frightening new details come to light, which of course should not be revealed here.
Lady Gaga and a “Freaky Friday” episode
Many spectators eagerly waited for Lady Gaga (39) in “Wednesday”, which had been announced for a long time. In episode six of part two of the second season, the time has finally come. And although Gaga plays a legendary teacher of the NEEMORE Academy with the figure Rosaline Rotwood, she does not take over the lessons of the students for Wednesday and Co.
With her short appearance, Lady Gaga once again proves that she also has acting skills in addition to her singing talent. In addition, the popular singer also contributes the new song “The Dead Dance” to “Wednesday”, which immediately sounds in an extensive dance scene, which, however, does not quite access Jenna Ortega's legendary performance from season one.
The opulent NEEMORE ball and a captivating final
Lady Gaga's appearance also heralds an episode that is all about the cult film “Freaky Friday”. The main actresses Emma Myers (plays Wednesdays roommate Enid Sinclair, 23) and Ortega can play all their skills here – and obviously enjoy the turned premise.
The final two episodes of the second “Wednesday” relay, in which master director Tim Burton (67) directed, then finally show the long-announced NEEVERMORE ball as visually opulent, venetian mask ball.
From here, the Netflix series heads towards its grand finale with an epic end confrontation. The only drawback remains that the second part of the second season feels a few too many action lines and rogue figures and in the last two episodes one big twist chasing the next, although not all of them were previously built up satisfactorily.
But all of this is a minor matter in view of a once more breathtaking acting ensembles, led by the Addams women Jenna Ortega and Catherine Zeta-Jones (55) as mother Morticia Addams, as well as a perfect production design with the eerily beautiful never academy. It remains to be seen in view of the end whether season three will still take place at this school for outsiders. For fans, the sequel in the form of a third season cannot appear quickly enough on Netflix.
