“Groove 103.1 is a new station with techno, house, disco, acid jazz, reggae and dance hall. Deejays include Jim “Poorman” Trenton, who was on KROQ and later on Power, the “Swedish Eagle” and Joe “Boomer” Servantez, a former Power DJ. They also have “Groovy Transvestite” Womina Wells.
Even for a person like me who has never liked or listened to this type of music, I have to admit that it is something different.
