Head of US National Security Visit the Guantanamo Naval Base

The United States National Security Head, Kristi Noem, visits the Naval Base of Guantanamo and the detention center where deported migrants have been transferred under the accusation of violent acts.

The main official of the United States National Security Department (DHS), Kristi Noem, arrived on Friday at Detention Center From Guantanamo Bay, when visiting the US Naval Base in Cuba, a day after sending a second flight of “illegal foreigners of high threat” to be held there.

“Hello everyone. I am here in the Bay of Guantanamo supervising some of the operations we are carrying out to house the worst illegal criminals in the United States of America. They will not be there for a long time, we want to thank President Trump for All his hard work to make the United States again, “Noem said in a video message from his X account.

Noem had announced the earliest trip on Friday on the same social network. There he shared photos of detainees, which he described as “murderers and vicious gang members”, when they were lowered from an US military transport aircraft before being taken to the penitentiary installation.

In a separate publication on Friday, Noem said the detainees were all Venezuelan gang members. Thus he said that a detainee had confessed a murder, while others were sought for attempted murder, assault, arms trafficking and identity impersonation.

The DHS has not yet provided documents or other details about the crimes that are accused of detainees.

An American official, who spoke with the Voice of America Under anonymity to talk about the operation, he said that Thursday's flight aboard a military C-130 cargo plane transported 13 high-risk individuals.

The first 10 undocumented immigrants, described by US officials as “the worst of the worst”, arrived at the detention center on Tuesday, also aboard a C-130. Officials have said that all immigrants are detained under the surveillance of agents of the United States immigration and customs control service.

National Security officials said that the 10 immigrants who arrived on Tuesday were members of the Aragua Train, a Venezuelan gang with transnational reach. The officials did not say when or how they were arrested for the first time.

The White House has announced plans to designate the Aragua train as a foreign terrorist organization.

American defense officials have described the arrest of high -risk immigrants at the Guantanamo Bay Detention Center as a temporary measure.

However, on Friday the Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, emphasized the commitment of the Armed Forces under the government of President Donald Trump to ensure the southern border of the United States with Mexico.

“We have seen an invasion,” Hegseth said at a meeting with Pentagon employees, “from people around the world, I'm sure many of them want a better life. I understand it.”

“But we don't know who millions of them are either, what their intentions are, why they are here,” said Hegseth. “That creates a very real threat to national security.”

Since Trump's executive order last month, the Pentagon has deployed hundreds of marines in Guantanamo to expand the facilities and support the detention operations of undocumented immigrants.

This includes the preparation center, mainly known for housing military prisoners and terrorism suspects, including those involved in the attacks of September 11, 2001 and members of the Taliban.

It also includes the installation of tents and other facilities to house non -violent immigrants in another section of the base to prepare some 30,000 immigrants who will remain there until they can be deported to their countries of origin or other countries willing to receive them.
