A young superhero is building her own combat suit. Is it worth streaming?
The once so promising Marvel series on Disney+ Wasn't particularly successful in the end. Productions such as “Secret Invasion”, “Echo” or “Agatha All Along” left most fans rather cold. Creates the New series “Ironheart”the original story of the later Superhero Riri Williams (Dominique Thorne, 27) tells, now the trend reversal?
That's what “Ironheart” is about
The young, extremely talented inventor Riri flies from the university in the first moments of the new MCU series “Ironheart”. Too many resources from the legendary Massachusetts Institute of Technology, shortly mentioned, Riri used in her endeavor to make his own combat suit reminiscent of Superheld Iron.
Without further ado, Riri returns to her hometown Chicago. There she meets her mother Ronnie (Anji White) and her own traumatic past, triggered by the death of some relatives. At the same time, the young woman begins to work for the impenetrable, with superpowers The Hood (“in the Heights” star Anthony Ramos, 33) and his crew. Because Riri needs money.
Coolest Marvel series in a long time
Protagonist Riri is strongly reminiscent of Tony Stark, the Marvel superheroes from the very beginning from her skills and Iron MAN MAN. In one respect, however, the two figures could not be more different. Although both ingenious inventors and inventors are, in contrast to Nepo Baby, Riri is not a billionaire.
So where do the money come from for your extravagant superhero suit consisting of costly technology? When the young Marvel figure has just reached the low point in “Ironheart” and is looking for usable parts in a scrap site, the organization of The Hood approaches you.
The mysterious small ganove seems to have special skills, for example, the trajectory can distract balls, and apparently does not shy away from going over corpses. Out of lack of money, the actually upright Riri decides to turn some crooked things with The Hood and his gang. After all, she accepts, can she get out again at any time – or not?
Memory of Marvel-Netflix series
The new Marvel series “Ironheart” plays in a black community chicagos, with the American metropolis and its residents come across very authentically. In any case, “Ironheart” is pleasantly reminiscent of the former Marvel Netflix series such as “Daredevil”, “Jessica Jones” and Co., all of which played more on the streets of New York than to devote themselves to cosmic adventures that are saving the whole world in the style of the “Avengers”.
So “Ironheart” tells one earthed story with a Dash of magic à la “Doctor Strange” or “Wandavision”, which looks excellent for the current MCU.
The first three episodes of the new series will appear on Disney+on June 25th. The other three episodes follow a week later and decide the new show.
