L.A. Youth writers give thumbs up to Death Cab for Cutie, Lupe Fiasco, MGMT, Panic At the Disco, Mariah Carey and Lily Allen.
It was a dream come true when Destiny, 15, met the author of the popular Twilight vampire series.
Gabe had a great time seeing Rilo Kiley, one of his favorite bands, at the Greek Theater.
Nattalie, 17, had a great time seeing The Used, one of her favorite bands.
Anahita, 16, enjoyed the Disney-related jokes mixed with curse words at her first comedy show.
The L.A. Youth teen staff chose these images as the winners of our annual art contest. The theme “My culture” could express the artist’s ethnicity or race. But it could also express who they are and how they identify themselves in other ways, such as their hobbies, interests or what they’re passionate about.
