Thank you for helping keep L.A. Youth open

l
Thanks to our wonderful and generous supporters we’ve raised more than $200,000! We haven’t reached our $500,000 goal but our doors are open. The Summer Writing Workshop starts June 28. More than 200 individual donors from around the country responded to our fundraising plea. Thanks to our friends at the Los Angeles Times, KPCC (also here) and KCRW, for giving us a platform to tell our story about the organization.
l
What is uniquely important about L.A. Youth is that it focuses on serving the most marginalized, most voiceless youth in our society—and making those voices heard by their peers and by significant adults.
l
“A lot of teens want the recognition for doing something great. That’s what L.A. Youth does. It brings out people. It lets them shine,”  L.A. Youth staff writer.
l
Please donate to L.A. Youth today to help us sustain our organization so that we can keep providing an invaluable free resource for teachers and continue to transform the lives of young people.
