The Six-Step will help you get on the floor to transition into moves like Turtle or Back Spins.

Your start position (S) is on the floor with your legs straight and your arms extended in front of you as if you’re going to do a push-up.

Next, (1) move one leg in front of your other leg. Then, move your other leg behind you so that your legs will be crossed (2). Now swing one leg across the front so that your legs are now uncrossed (3). As you extend and swing the other leg (4), switch your weight to the opposite hand (5). Now it’s time to get back into the push-up position by crossing one leg behind you (6) and then the other. Steps 3-4 need to be done quickly and emphasize those sweeps.
