Ingredients:

Vegetable oil
2 eggs
French bread crumbs
Chicken pieces
Garlic powder or cloves (Optional)
Paprika (Optional)

Directions:

Pour oil in a pot an inch deep. Turn the stove on high to heat the oil.

While waiting for the oil to get hot, crack two eggs inside a bowl and mix very well. Add paprika (optional).

Break the French bread into hard crumbs and put the crumbs in a bowl. If the bread is too soft to form crumbs, you may need to toast it lightly in the oven to make it crumbly.

If you want extra flavor, use garlic French bread. Or you can add garlic powder or minced garlic cloves to the bread crumbs.

Take the chicken out of the package and rinse it. Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel and put it in the egg mixture. Make sure that the entire piece of chicken is covered with egg or else the bread crumbs won’t stick that well.

Put the egg-covered chicken in the bread crumbs and fully cover the chicken in the crumbs.

Dip the chicken slowly into the oil. Be careful not to splash the oil. It’s hot and could burn you.

Wait until the chicken is fried on one side (it should be golden brown but not black), then turn it over and fry the other side. It takes about 20 minutes to do everything.
