This is something that my mom made up. It’s only three steps. The broccoli cost about $3 and the carrots and green onions each cost less than a dollar. My mom used to make it as a way to get my brother and me to eat broccoli. Now I like broccoli and I still like this dish.

Ingredients:
2 heads of broccoli
3 carrots
1 bunch of green onions
1 tablespoon of butter
salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste

Directions:

Put vegetables in a large pot with enough water to cover and boil until soft, about 5 to 7 minutes.

2 Drain vegetables in a colander.

3 Put all ingredients in food processor or blender with about a quarter cup of water. Mix until smooth.
