Angry students walk out at Pali High
Students protested the new school calendar, which will begin the school year in late August.
When Palisades Charter High School announced that school would start on Aug. 20 next year, students organized a protest. Christina said it was empowering, even though it didn’t stop the change. According to Christina, the school gave the following reason for the change: with the new schedule second semester will begin after winter break and eliminate the worry of finals. It also gives AP students more time to study for exams.
