When in the pit avoid wearing:
• glasses (they fall off)
• sandals
• skimpy outfits with ties (they come untied)
• sweatshirts (it gets really hot in the pits)
• Try to wear your hair up, because hair left down can get pulled.
• Stuff easily falls out of your pockets, so leave them empty. I lost my camera at the Whisky A Go-Go during a super small pit.
• Remember that when hard punk bands come on the scene like AFI or Pennywise, guys make up the majority of the audience, so those pits can get rougher.
